Two people were killed, and 19 were injured as a result of Israeli airstrikes, carried out in the evening on Monday in the outskirts of the town of Dar'a in southern Syria. One of the witnesses, living in the village not far from the Dar'a airport, said: "We heard the sound of explosions, and shortly after that, we saw fire and smoke over the area. People began to panic, trying to hide from the attack." According to local sources, Israeli planes launched several rockets, targeting military facilities. Among the wounded are civilians, who were found near the site of the strikes. Many of the injured were hospitalized, and their condition is assessed as serious. Official comments from the Israeli military have yet to be released. As noted, Israel periodically conducts airstrikes on Syrian territory, citing threats from Iranian militants and their allies.
