The group Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), controlling areas in northeastern Syria, announced on Sunday night the death of nine people as a result of airstrikes, which they blame Turkey for carrying out. According to SDF information, one of the Turkish airstrikes was recorded in the area between the village of Kumujah and the birka Butan south of Kobani, where nine members of one family were killed, and two were injured. 'During the late night hours on Sunday, a Turkish plane attacked a family engaged in agricultural work,' SDF representatives reported. The group, which has received support from the U.S., has played a key role in the fight against the terrorist organization ISIS, despite its last fortifications being dismantled in 2019.
