The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Egypt expressed its concern on Friday due to the clashes in the Syrian province of Latakia, which have led to deaths and injuries among civilians.
"We reaffirm our previous and ongoing condemnation of all forms of racism, regardless of its source. We also call on all parties to adhere to a ceasefire and stop actions that could exacerbate the crisis and inflict harm on the civilian population," the ministry stated.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also calls for the necessity of seeking a political solution that can meet the basic needs of the Syrian people and lead to the establishment of stability and security in the country.
