In Syria, an operation for security has been announced in the Assad family after brutal fighting and horrific offenses that resulted in the deaths of more than 140 people in the western part of the country. According to the official Syrian state news agency SANA, a source in the Ministry reported: "Our forces are currently carrying out special operations alongside the forces of the state security against the remnants of the fallen regime that threatened our forces and the lives of the people of the Qardaha region." Meanwhile, the Syrian Human Rights Network and the Arabic news channel reported about the deaths of dozens of people in the western part of Syria.

"Just in the last hours, we have registered the death of 93 people, including 31 civilians," cited the Syrian Human Rights Network.
