The representative of the Syrian Ministry of Oil, Ahmed As-Suleiman, stated to Reuters that the country will resume oil production in the near future after the process of servicing certain wells is completed. According to him, the oil and gas sector in Syria is experiencing some difficulties, but the situation is beginning to improve thanks to the efforts of the authorities. Suleiman also noted that gas production workers could possibly return to work sooner after the repair work is completed.
