The UN's International Diplomat and Special Representative for Syria, Geir Pedersen, called Israel's actions a "clear violation" of its territorial integrity.

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres discussed Israel's "violations" of Syria's sovereignty, including a missile strike near the presidential palace in Damascus, his press secretary stated on Friday. "The Secretary-General calls on all concerned parties to cease all hostile actions, to exercise maximum restraint, and to avoid any additional escalation," he added.

Speaking on behalf of Guterres, Stephane Dujarric stated: "The Secretary-General condemns Israel's violations of Syria's sovereignty, including airstrikes close to the presidential palace in Damascus; such attacks must cease, and Israel must respect Syria's sovereignty and territorial integrity."
