Kurdish authorities in Syria handed over 34 Australian citizens, family members of Islamic State (IS) militants, to their relatives on Monday. They had been detained in a camp in northeastern Syria. The director of the Roj camp in Hasakah province, Hikmah Ibrahim, confirmed the transfer of 11 families totaling 34 people. Separately, Syria's Ministry of Interior announced that reconciliation centers for former members of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in several provinces will stop accepting applications starting March 1. Additionally, local sources reported that several people were injured in an explosion of a car carrying weapons and ammunition in the town of Al-Qarya in southern Sweida province.
