The Syrian General Authority for Land and Sea Borders announced on Wednesday that it has closed the border crossing with Lebanon for outgoing travelers. This decision came after receiving a warning from Israel indicating a possibility of Israeli forces targeting the crossing. An official from the Jdeidet Yabous border crossing stated that the crossing will remain open for incoming travelers as long as the flow of Syrians from Lebanon continues.
