Syria secured a big victory (5-0) over host Pakistan in the fifth round of the final qualifiers for the 2027 AFC Asian Cup in Saudi Arabia. Syria strengthened its lead in Group Five with 15 points from five matches, while Pakistan's points tally remained at two after failing to secure any wins in the group.
