Local authorities in Aleppo announced on Friday that Kurdish fighters besieged in the city will be transferred within hours to Kurdish self-administration zones in northeastern Syria. The Aleppo province's media department stated in a statement that 'elements of the SDF organization with individual light weapons will be transferred east of the Euphrates in the coming hours.' This announcement followed the Ministry of Defense's declaration of a ceasefire after days of deadly clashes in the Sheikh Maqsoud and Al-Ashrafieh districts between Kurdish forces and government forces, which forced thousands of civilians to flee.
