In the municipality of Southern Ramel of the Lattakia province in Syria, a powerful explosion occurred, resulting in the deaths of at least three people and injuring another twelve. Search efforts for the injured and missing continue at the site of the incident.
One of the victims is a woman who recounted, "We were away from the street when suddenly there was an explosion. The entire area was plunged into darkness. I heard screams and realized something terrible had happened."
Emergency services are working at the scene while the reasons for the explosion remain unknown. Residents of the area are in shock and demand that an investigation be conducted to establish the circumstances of what happened.
