Syria's Finance Minister, Mukhammad Abbazid, discussed today, in particular, the financial situation of his country and possible measures for its improvement.
Pointing to the complexity of the economic situation in Syria, the minister noted: "We are facing serious challenges, and it is necessary to adopt additional measures to stabilize the national currency and improve the welfare levels of the population."
He also added that the government is working on various scenarios for improving the financial situation in the country and is discussing possible steps to reduce inflation and strengthen the national currency.
In conclusion of his speech, the finance minister expressed confidence that through joint efforts, the country will be able to overcome economic difficulties and return to a path of sustainable development.
