The Syrian ambassador to the United Nations, Kassim Jahhak, condemned the violation of Syria's sovereignty by Israel and the military invasion of it.
"Israel continues its aggressive actions, violating the sovereignty of Syria and international humanitarian law," said Jahhak.
He noted that such actions create a threat to peace and stability in the region and called on the international community to take the necessary measures to protect Syria's sovereignty.
