Yesterday, the Minister of Defense of Syria, Mearaf Abu Kasr, confirmed that the new authorities, who have pledged to disperse armed factions and integrate them within the framework of the united army, will indeed be moving in this direction.
"We work in conjunction with the plan that was approved by the government, and we continue to move forward," said Minister Abu Kasr during a meeting with journalists after his appointment to the position of Minister of Defense.
This initiative is aimed at completing all disparate structures and uniting the forces to achieve a single goal - ensuring security and stability in the country.
