The terrorist organization 'Huras al-Din' in Syria, which was classified by the USA as a terrorist group, declared its self-commitment, revealing for the first time its official connection with the terrorist grouping 'Al-Qaeda'. The organization, active in the northwestern regions of Syria and estimated, according to the given UN data, to have from 2000 to 2500 fighters, including foreigners, first acknowledged its ties with 'Al-Qaeda'.

In September 2019, the US State Department listed 'Huras al-Din' among the global terrorist organizations and significantly stated about the targets set in relation to the high-ranking leaders of this group. The grouping, operating in the northwestern regions of Syria, was officially recognized as a terrorist formation.

Citing information from the local publication 'Sait', attributed to the terrorist organization, the owners of its alagrafy stated the connection with the 'star' of global terrorism – 'Al-Qaeda'. Syrian authorities
