As it became known, the forces of the National Defense and Public Security of Syria announced a truce in western Homs and the Hama region following attacks on security checkpoints, as a result of which two employees of the Ministry of Defense were killed.
According to official sources, the incident occurred in the specified areas. Immediately after the attack, a truce was announced, and a search began for the perpetrators. With the aim of preventing further incidents, security forces were deployed in the territory, and additional security measures were taken.
Officials stated that the incident on the National Road of Mahardah-Deir-ez-Zor occurred after the attack on the security checkpoint. This led to casualties among the staff, as well as a serious insecurity for the region's authorities. Furthermore, special services are conducting investigations and operations related to the apprehension of the criminals.
