On Monday, the representative of the Syrian Ministry of Defense, Hasan Abd al-Ghani, announced the completion of the "military operation" in the Idlib region.
According to him, as a result of the operation, the grouping of terrorists was dismantled, and their forces significantly weakened. Military actions were conducted in conjunction with a plan for the liberation of the area from extremists.
"During the operation, precise strikes were delivered on the militants' positions, which allowed for the destruction of their equipment and shelters," noted the ministry representative.
Abd al-Ghani also emphasized that the Syrian army continues to fight against terrorist groups on the territory of the country, aiming to ensure the safety of peaceful residents and restore control over all provinces.
