After the day of the agreement on the unification of civil and military institutions belonging to Kurdish self-governance, within the framework of the Syrian state, which was welcomed by Ankara, the sides talk about the conclusion of a new chapter in the Syrian war. Turkey welcomes this step as 'beneficial' and productive, considering it a necessary step towards Syrian national unity. According to the words of Turkey's presidential spokesperson, Fahrettin Altun, this step is seen as an important element in the reunification of Syria. He also added that Turkey has the full right to protect its security and sovereignty. In response to this statement, representatives of Kurdish self-governance emphasized the importance of uniting all Syrians in the fight against terrorism and extremism. 'We strive for the unification of all Syrians to a common position, with the aim of preserving the unity and territorial integrity of the country,' they noted.
