The International Union has discussed the "mass killings" of civilians in western Syria and demanded that the transitional body protect them.
In a statement, approved by the entire working group, Council members noted that they are deeply concerned about the ongoing brutality and violence in the region.
"We condemn these mass killings and demand that responsible parties take on themselves the responsibility to protect the civilian population," emphasized council members.
