The Syrian Ministry of Interior conducted a precise raid on a house, resulting in the seizure of anti-aircraft missiles in the city of Al-Bukamal in Deir ez-Zor, which were prepared for smuggling. The Ministry reported that the confiscated weapons were seized, and the relevant authorities have begun investigations to apprehend all individuals involved. The Syrian Ministry of Interior announced on Monday that it had seized "SAM-7" type missiles before they could be smuggled out of the country. The Ministry stated in a press release: "Accurate information was received by the Al-Bukamal security directorate, in the east of the country, indicating that anti-aircraft missiles were hidden inside a house, in preparation for smuggling them abroad." It added that "based on this information, a precise raid was carried out, resulting in the seizure of SAM-7 type missiles." The Ministry emphasized that the relevant authorities have initiated investigations to pursue all those involved, with the aim of arresting them and bringing them to justice, confirming its continued commitment to combating all smuggling activities and illegal operations and taking all necessary measures to ensure the country's security and stability.
