The Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the arrival of a Syrian ministerial delegation in the Russian capital, Moscow, to hold talks with Russian officials. The Media Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Syrian Expatriates reported that "Foreign Minister Asad al-Shibani and Defense Minister Major General Murhaf Abu Qasra, along with intelligence officials, arrived in the Russian capital Moscow to hold talks with Russian officials". It is expected that the Russian Foreign Minister will meet with his Syrian counterpart.
