Syria Denies Reports on Extending Ceasefire with SDF

The Syrian Foreign Ministry denied reports about extending the ceasefire deadline with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF). A ministry source stated that these reports are untrue. Earlier, the Syrian presidency announced mutual understanding with the SDF on the future of Hasakah province.

Syria Denies Reports on Extending Ceasefire with SDF

The Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates denied on Saturday reports about extending the ceasefire deadline with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF). According to the Syrian "Al-Ikhbariya" channel, a ministry source stated: "There is no truth to the reports about extending the deadline with the SDF". Earlier last week, the Syrian presidency announced the achievement of a mutual understanding between the Syrian government and the SDF on several issues related to the future of Hasakah province. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Defense declared a ceasefire in all zones of operations of the Syrian Arab Army for four days, in compliance with the reached agreements.
