The media center of the Syrian Central Bank confirmed that on Friday information was received about the arrival of 300 billion Syrian pounds, transferred from Russia through the international airport in Damascus. The media center verified information about any more significant amounts.

At the same time, Moscow expressed its intention to develop relations with Damascus, while the question of the presence of Russian troops in Syria remains open. This occurred after the Paris Conference, where issues of supporting the transitional process in Syria and lifting sanctions were discussed.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan emphasized that Ankara will not allow the presence of terrorist groups in northern Syria.
