Turkish Airlines Resumes Flights to Damascus

The company Turkish Airlines has restored flights to Damascus after more than a decade of interruption, with a frequency of 3 flights per week. This morning, Royal Jordanian Airlines announced the launch of its first commercial flight to Damascus Airport after a 13-year hiatus. The first Royal Jordanian Airlines plane arrived this morning at the international airport of Damascus as part of its first commercial flight.

The company from Jordan stated that this flight coincided with the decision of the Ministry of Interior of Jordan to allow citizens to fly from the country’s airports to the airports of Damascus and Aleppo, starting from the date when airlines began to operate. Royal Jordanian Airlines added that it will operate 4 flights per week from Queen Alia International Airport to Damascus Airport, noting that it is one of the first airlines to resume direct flights to Damascus.

The company from Jordan has set a goal for itself to be one of the first airlines to ensure air communication with the Syrian market and other countries of the world. A few airlines have resumed flights to Damascus, including Qatar Airways, after an impressive 13-year interruption, stating that there will be 3 flights per week.
