According to information published today, on Monday, the Syrian Arab news agency reported that three people were killed, and twenty were injured as a result of an explosion in the province of Deir ez-Zor in the east of the country.
One of the witnesses of the event noted: "I witnessed a terrible catastrophe. The explosion occurred at a time when people were gathered at the market, which made its consequences even more tragic".
According to this source, as a result of the explosion, several buildings were destroyed, and rescuers and medical personnel are working at the scene of the incident.
