The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Syria, Hassan al-Shabani, welcomed the decision of the European Union to lift sanctions against Syria, calling it a "positive step."
Hassan al-Shabani also noted that this step assists in restoring relations between Syria and the countries of the European Union. He expressed hope that in the future, relations between the parties would improve and allow for cooperation in various areas.
"We view this decision as a positive signal and hope that it will lead to further strengthening of relations between Syria and European countries," the minister emphasized.
