The Syrian Ministry of Interior stated that from the first day of its operations after the liberation of Syria, it has assumed responsibility for combating terrorism in all its forms, in cooperation with the General Intelligence Directorate and the Ministry of Defense. The ministry emphasized that countering the terrorist organization ISIS is a top priority within the state's plan to maintain security, protect the community, enhance civil peace, and build a state of justice and law, which contributes to regional and international security through cooperation with international partners.
