Syria Calls for Israeli Withdrawal During National Dialogue Conference

The international community condemned the Israeli invasion of Syria as a clear violation of state sovereignty. An immediate and unconditional withdrawal of Israel is required. This was mentioned in the concluding statement of the conference on the national dialogue in Syria, which took place under the aegis of the new administration in Damascus.

At the national dialogue conference in Syria, held on Tuesday in Damascus, 18 points of resolution were presented. Among them are strengthening the principles of citizenship, rejection of any form of discrimination based on race, religion or belief, and the achievement of the principle of equal opportunities, avoiding racial and religious quotas. Participants emphasized the need to strengthen the principle of peaceful coexistence among all segments of the Syrian people, rejection of any form of racism, sectarianism, and the aim of strengthening social stability and civic peace.
